Hanover Park Cops Day 2018

The Hanover Park Police Department will be hosting our 22nd Annual COPS Day Picnic on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5-8p.m. followed by a movie-in-the-park featuring Disney’s “Coco” at dusk. The picnic will be held at Community Park, 1919 Walnut Avenue. The park is located on the southwest corner of Church Street and Walnut Avenue.

The picnic will include an emergency vehicle display, a police canine demonstration, appearances by McGruff the Crime Dog, Skates the Chicago Wolves Hockey Team mascot, Coop from the Schaumburg Boomers, Hanover Park Lions Club Leo the Lion, face painting, balloon artists, crafts and numerous community resource agencies. The Hanover Park Police Administration will be cooking hotdogs which are free to all attendees.

The Hanover Park Police Department encourages all residents to come out and meet your neighbors as well as members of the Hanover Park Police Department.

Schedule of Events:
» 5:00pm: COPS festivities including emergency vehicle show, community resource fair, mascots and kids’ activities
» 5:30pm: FREE hotdogs, chips, snacks and beverages
» 7:30pm: Raffle winners
» 7:45pm: K9 “Echo” Demonstration
» 8:00pm: Music and kids’ activities followed by Movie in the Park “Coco” at dusk
